DOCSIS 3.1 Passive Products

This new product family from MACOM includes upstream and downstream transformers/baluns, couplers and power dividers/combiners, and represents the industry’s broadest portfolio of passive components specifically designed to comply with the DOCSIS 3.1 standard for high-bandwidth data transfer over existing hybrid fiber-coaxial (HFC) infrastructure.

1.2kV, 13mΩ All-Silicon Carbide Half-Bridge Module

Cree's CAS120M12BM2 includes C2M™ MOSFETs and Z-Rec™ diodes and features ultra-low loss, high-frequency operation, zero reverse recovery current from the diodes, zero turn-off tail current from the MOSFETs, fail-safe operation, ease of paralleling, and a copper baseplate and aluminum nitride insulator. It is available in an industry-standard 62 mm housing for ease of design.

0.3–20 GHz GaAs pHEMT MMIC LNA

ADI's HMC1049LP5E provides 15 dB of small signal gain, 1.8 dB noise figure, and output IP3 of +29 dBm, while requiring only 70 mA from a +7V supply. Ideal as an LO driver for balanced, I/Q or image reject mixers, it is internally matched to 50 Ohms and available in a QFN 5x5 mm surface mount package.

Radiall's SHORTBEND low-loss coaxial cable assemblies are ideal for interconnection of coaxial components or subsystems that require low profile bending. The design features a silver-plated copper braid that minimizes signal leakage while offering flexibility for easy bend.

650V & 1200V NPT IGBTs with SiC Diodes from Microsemi
Microsemi has added three new 650V NPT IGBTs with integrated zero recovery, low leakage, SiC anti-parallel diodes, to its offering that previously included only 1200V models. Available in 45A and 70A current ratings, these leading edge 650V NPT IGBTs allow developers to reduce total system cost by replacing more costly 600V to 650V MOSFETs in industrial applications up to 150 kHz.

The Powerfilm TCAF N05 Series from Aeroflex/Inmet operates from DC to 12 GHz and is designed to vary -.005 dB/dB/ºC to compensate for temperature-induced system gain variation without requiring a bias or control voltage.

Ultra-miniature OCXOs from IQD Frequency Products
The IQOV-162 Series of OCXOs from IQD Frequency Products are available in standard frequencies, including 10, 12.8, 19.2, 20 and 38.88 MHz, with either an HCMOS or sinewave output and 3.3V supply. Stability of +/-20 ppb over an operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C makes them ideal for base station, femtocell, satcom and SATA applications.

0.7-2.7GHz Fractus BAR mXTEND™ Antenna Booster
The FR01-S4-232 is a low cost, standard off the shelf multiband antenna covering 698-2690 MHz to enable worldwide coverage. The new fractal geometry optimized antenna offers a miniature size of 10 mm x 3.2 mm x 3.2 mm without sacrificng performance, making it suitable for a wide range of cellular based products.

27.5-33.4 GHz Integrated Up-converter from MACOM
MACOM's MAUC-011003 includes an LO doubler, LO buffer amplifier, and RF buffer amplifier, in a 4 mm 24-lead PQFN plastic package. It features a typical conversion gain of 12 dB, and an image rejection of 15 dBc. It is ideally suited for 28 and 32 GHz band point-to-point radios under both LSB and USB operation and Ka-Band VSAT applications.

16-18.5 GHz 1W GaAs Power Amplifier from Qorvo
Qorvo's TGA2621-SM provides greater than 1W output power with 23% PAE and 25 dB of small signal gain. It is available in a 5x5 mm QFN and is suitable as a power amplifier or driver amplifier in Ku-band radar and satellite communications systems.

Peregrine's 50-3000 MHz UltraCMOS® SP4T Switch
Peregrine's PE423641 has received AEC-Q100 Grade 2 certification and meets the quality and performance standards for use in harsh automotive environments. It is designed to cover a wide range of wireless applications such as cellular antenna band switching, automotive infotainment, and traffic safety applications.

Maestro's 2G CDMA Modem for M2M Applications
The new M100CDMAPLUS modem from Maestro Wireless is a low-cost CDMA modem capable of running the Sierra Wireless OpenAT application framework, which enables customer application hosting on-board the modem.

Vincotech SiC MOSFET-based Power Modules
This new generation of Vincotech 1200V SiC MOSFET-based power modules comes in two versions. One is a flow3xPHASE 0 SiC three-phase inverter module with 3x BUCK/BOOST and split output topology, which may be used as a bidirectional DC/AC three-phase inverter or a three-channel bidirectional DC-DC. The other is the flow3xBOOST 0 SiC with three-channel boost circuits that are not connected, allowing them to be used flexibly as individual circuits and to attach shunt resistors for current sensing.
